Eligibility

A bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% is a must to enroll. Qualification should be from a recognised college by Association of Indian Universities.
Reserved categories like, SC, ST, OBC, and PwD have a relaxation of 5% for graduation scores.

Admission Processing Fee of ₹1,200/- applicable for all admissions.
An initial amount of ₹10,000/- from the program fee will be collected at the time of registration.
Exam fee : ₹800/- per subject per attempt.
Project fee : ₹1,500/- per exam attempt.

Admission Process 2025: Online MBA

The steps for online MBA admission are as follows:

Step 1:
Go to the official NMIMS Online website and fill out the registration form. Then, pay the admission processing fee.

Step 2:
Submit your academic and professional documents, along with a photo ID, to your authorized enrollment partner.

Step 3:
Once the counselor verifies your documents, you need to pay the program fee online or via Demand Draft.

Step 4:
After your documents are reviewed and the fee is processed, your admission will be confirmed, and you will receive your student number.

Curriculum

Semester 1
Business Economics: This subject explores how businesses make decisions regarding resource allocation, pricing, and production based on economic principles. It helps managers understand market trends, demand, and cost structures to make informed decisions.

Financial Accounting: Focused on recording, summarizing, and reporting financial transactions of a business, financial accounting helps in analyzing a company’s financial health through statements like the balance sheet and income statement.

Microeconomics: Microeconomics studies individual consumers, firms, and markets, examining how they interact and make decisions about resources, pricing, and output on a smaller scale, such as a single market or industry.

Macroeconomics: This field looks at the economy as a whole, focusing on large-scale economic factors like inflation, unemployment, and GDP. It helps understand broader economic forces that affect all businesses.

Marketing Management: Marketing management involves planning, executing, and overseeing marketing strategies to meet consumer needs and achieve business goals. It covers product development, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies.

Organisational Behaviour: This area examines how individuals and groups behave within organizations. It helps managers understand team dynamics, leadership, motivation, and workplace culture, aiming to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Quantitative Methods – I: This subject provides tools and techniques for data analysis and decision-making in business. It covers statistical and mathematical methods used to solve complex business problems, often focusing on optimization and forecasting.

Semester 2
Cost & Management Accounting: This area focuses on tracking, analyzing, and controlling costs to help businesses make informed financial decisions. It aids in budgeting, cost control, and performance evaluation, essential for efficient management.

Human Resource Management: HRM involves recruiting, training, and managing employees to ensure their optimal performance. It covers employee relations, benefits, development programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Business Analytics: Business analytics utilizes data analysis and statistical techniques to help companies make data-driven decisions. It involves predictive modeling, data mining, and visualization to improve business performance and outcomes.

Legal Aspects of Business: This topic covers the legal framework within which businesses operate. It includes corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance to ensure lawful business operations.

Semester 3

Research Methodology: This subject introduces students to the techniques and tools used for conducting scientific and business research. It covers data collection, analysis, hypothesis testing, and the ethical aspects of research.

Project Part I: The initial phase of a project where students identify a problem, conduct a literature review, and develop a project proposal. This part lays the groundwork for executing the project in subsequent phases.

Semester 4
Indian Ethos and Ethics: This course explores the relevance of traditional Indian values and ethical principles in modern business practices.
